The band played some reunion gigs in 2007 and 2008. They reunited with the classical line-up in October 2009.

Muro is a heavy metal band formed in 1984 in Vallecas, Madrid, Spain. Their debut album, Steel and Blood, was recorded live in December 1986, and was responsible for introducing the music speed metal genre in Spain coming to play in the major Spanish festivals and opening for big bands internationally as having MOTÖRHEAD a major impact nationally and touring mass.

Among the heavy metal "classic" and thrash metal, as without gender decide which to choose, Muro expanded this style of heavy metal in Spain, bordering unknowingly parallel with the American underground bands and German as Agent Steel, Helloween, Rage, Savage Grace, Omen, Liege Lord, Running Wild, Exciter, Abbatoir, Tyrant, Realm, and the legendary Helstar Anthrax (thrash-metal purely latter), who made similar music in the mid to late eighties.

Unlike these groups mentioned already approached the thrash metal, Muro had a heavier spirit or melancholy, and his musical influences as a basis for the furious guitar riffs ranged from Judas Priest, Motörhead and Accept, added to that base passionate vocals stylistically similar to Manowar and Red Baron. Furthermore, differentiated by the very peculiar form of singing with Silver, their vocalist.

In 2003 the group split, although in 2004 Silver brings together several of the members who have passed through the group throughout its history to record a double live CD in farewell

In 2009 the original four members, Lapi (Drums), Largo (Guitar), Julito (Bass) and Silver (Voice) restate the band and make a tour titled "A Fistful of Dollars" leading them to play even known festival HEAVY METAL MANIACS held in Holland. For 2013 and have signed the German festival date HEADBANGERS OPEN AIR. They are currently in the studio recording what will be their next album entitled "The Fourth Horseman" which will be released in late 2012 or early 2013 and preparing what will be the tour presentation.

Today Muro is a highly respected cult band throughout Europe and South America, with a legion of loyal fans and still influence for many bands later generations.
