Fifteen years after its last edition in Brazil, São Paulo acclaimed festival
will transform the rock capital of the world in October , with shows ,
band contests , film screenings and exhibitions .
The fifth edition of the Brazilian Monsters of Rock in Arena Anhembi
happens with the weather getting an audience of 40,000 people each day .
The first attractions are already confirmed : on the 19th presenting
Slipknot , Korn , Limp Bizkit , Killswitch Engage, Hatebreed and Gojira ,
the 20th is the turn of Aerosmith , Whitesnake , Ratt , Queensryche and
Buckcherry (featuring Geoff Tate ) .

EDDIE TRUNK COMES FOR MONSTERS
In addition to the great line up confirmed, the festival will feature
Eddie Trunk as Master of Ceremonies for this edition . Historian and
presenter of the prestigious U.S. That Metal Show, VH1 Channel , will
present all bands . Trunk is an expert in music - specifically for heavy
metal and hard rock - TV, radio , bands , singers and personalities of
rock , and is considered by the world media as one of the most respected
music critics today. In 2011 , he released the book " Eddie Trunk 's
Essential Hard Rock and Heavy Metal " where he lists his favorite bands
and CDs , backstage of several bands and several tales of rock and metal
's most iconic figures.
