Utopia es una banda estadounidense de rock progresivo cuya historia se extiende desde 1973 hasta 1987, teniendo exitosas reuniones en diversas ocasiones. Los integrantes de
más importancia y que formaron a lo que se conoció como Utopia (y no
como "Todd Rundgren's Utopia") fueron su líder Todd Rundgren (guitarrista y vocalista), Roger Powell (teclista, sintetizador y vocalista), John "Willie" Wilcox (baterista y vocalista) y Kasim Sulton (bajista, vocalista, guitarrista y pianista), no dejando a un lado a Mark "Moogy" Klingman (teclista desde 1973 hasta 1975), M. Frog Labat (sintetizador en 1974), Ralph Schuckett (teclista junto a "Moogy" desde el 73 hasta 1975) Kevin
Ellman (baterista en 1974), John Siegler (bajista desde 1973 hasta
1975).

Recorded live
in 1980, this live set from Todd Rundgren and Utopia is largely culled
from the albums "Adventures in Utopia," "Oops! Wrong Planet," "Hermit of
Mink Hollow," "Back to the Bars," "Something/Anything," "A Wizard, A
True Star," and "RA." In total 29 songs are featured, displaying the
band's awesome power.

This DVD features 3 complete sets of Todd Rundgren and Utopia from 1980.
The 1st set features material from the 1980 album "Adventures In
Utopia" and the preceding 1977 Utopia album "Oops! Wrong Planet." The
second set is an eclectic mixture of great album tracks including songs
from "Adventures In Utopia", from the Todd Rundgren albums "Hermit Of
Mink Hollow" and "Back To The Bars" as well as songs from both Roger
Powell and Kasim Sultin. The third and final set features music from
Todd's seminal albums "Something/Anything?" and "A Wizard, A True Star"
as well as songs from the Utopia album RA. The DVD also includes a 30
minute interview conducted in February 2003.
