Camel es un grupo de rock británico, formado en Londres en 1969 y consolidado en 1971. Es uno de los pioneros del rock progresivo, y uno de los pilares fundamentales del género, junto a bandas como Pink Floyd, Yes, Genesis o King Crimson. También participó junto a Caravan y otros grupos en la Escena de Canterbury.

Considerada como una de las mejores bandas surgidas de la escena británica en la década de 1970, Camel combinó elementos tomados del jazz, la música clásica y barroca, el blues e incluso la música electrónica, para crear álbumes de notable creatividad y precisión técnica.
