Plot:
Vader are at it since 1986, making the Poles true Death Metal veterans, but they are also among the most active and well-travelled genre acts. "Necropolis" is album #10 by mastermind Piotr Wiwczarek (who, apart from the drums, has played all instruments on this recording). "Necropolis" leaves nothing to be desired: this melancholic juggernaut of Death crushes and convinces you at the same time. Classic riffs influenced by Thrash Metal are the solid basis for Peter's deep trademark growls. "Rise of the undead", "Blast" or diabolical "The seal" are among the best songs ever done by the quartet, simple, but mercilessly brutal. I recommend the limited version of the album containing two extra cover versions of the evergreens "Black Metal" (Venom) and "Fight fire with fire" (Metallica)
