| ROYAL HUNT - Hard Rain's Coming [single] (2011)
ROYAL HUNT will release today, November 14th, the first single from the band's forthcoming studio album 'Show Me How To Live', entitled "Hard Rain's Coming". The single release will also feature a previously unreleased live version of the track "Martial Arts" recorded at ProgPower USA in 2009.
The new release celebrates the return of singer DC Cooper to the line-up, and alongside the new album, it will be available two DVD with the band's which were only released in Japan back in the day.
Founded in Denmark in 1989 by keyboardist Andre Andersen, Royal Hunt has gone through numerous personal changes since their inception.
The two recordings with American singer DC Cooper; 'Moving Target' (1995) and specially the subsequent concept album 'Paradox' are really good melodic hard / neoclassical / prog oriented discs in my book.
I always liked the band's epics.
Royal Hunt never disappoints, and the new single "Hard Rain's Coming" is continuing the same path of their good nineties albums
