Born in Brazil, USA resident since 1996, songwriter/singer/guitarist and producer Marco Ferreira released his first solo album FERREIRA – FALLEN HEROES with his brother Alex on the drums in 2002. To promote the album the brothers Ferreira joined forces with long time friend Gus Monsanto (REVOLLUTION RENAISSANSSE, ADAGIO, TAKARA) to take over the bass and backing vocals. As a trio they played heavy locally under the name MONKEY BITE in the Colorado area, West coast and with a few gigs in Brazil. During a show in Denver supporting the band RATT, the band met the bassist Dario Seixas (FIREHOURE, TAKARA, AMSTERDAM) Later to became GOODBYE THRILL bass player. In 2006 after moving to New York, Marc is invited to join the French progressive metal band VENTURIA and record the bands debut “The New Kingdom” in France with a help of Kevin Codferd (ADAGIO) on the production. The CD had nothing less than great reviews all over the world and the band was invited to perform the first show on the Swiss channel TSR in Geneva on the TV show 100% Scene, playing a full hour live performance. In 2007 marco formed the band GOODBYE THRILL with guitarist Dean Cramer (FUNNY MONEY-Steve Whiteman, front man of the band KIX). The bands self title debut was produced by Marc. It received a great acceptance from the melodic rock fans world wide with also glowing reviews. In 2008 VENTURIA's second album “Hybrid” was released in Switzerland. The album was released as a double CD/DVD with all new songs plus a DVD with the live performance in Geneva. Again excellent reviews world wide. In 2009 Marc recorded and produced his second solo album MARC FERREIRA – WORKING OVERTIME. Released in December by Marc’s PLAYREC PRODUCTION. The CD carry Marc’s trademark all over with lot’s of guitars, big backings and catchy choruses in the same line of GOODBYE THRILL. On BETTER RUN! Marc starts a musical relationship with guitarist, friend based in Finland, Patrick Sebastian. Patrick and Marco were already exchanging demos online. On that exchange, 4 of the songs made to the album. Also a collaboration with GUS who co-wrote and performed the vocals on on song. With ALEX FERREIRA on the drums and B.vocals, GUS MONSANTO on Bass and B. Vocals, PATRICK SEBASTIAN on Guitars and B. Vocals and MARCO FERREIRA on Lead Vocals and Guitars, The band FERREIRA is completed and ready to come out and play.
