ALIEN - Alien 25th Anniversary Edition [2CD] (2013)

Finally, and after so many years claiming for official reissues, some long time out of print and sought after Melodic Hard Rock and AOR albums
from the Swedish scene will be released officially by EMI Music Sweden.
Now we have a majestic, 2-CD deluxe edition of ALIEN first album - the
superb AOR/MR act fronted by Jim Jidhed - including the original
Scandinavian 1988 edition (remastered 2013), plus its remixed version
for the American market.

Even though Alien first album is 25 years old now it has lost nothing of
its magic. This is a seminal recording regarded by fans and critics
(including myself) as the finest European AOR release of all time.
Packed with outstanding melodic songs plenty of Scandi charm conducted
by the extraordinary guitar work from Tony Borg and the soaring, perfect
Jim Jidhed high pitch vocals, these tunes are still a wet dream for any
AOR aficionado.

This "25th Anniversary Edition" contains the original Scandinavian
version with Jidhed on vocals (remastered 2013 at EMI headquarters) as
well as the later 1989 US-version (remixed and quite different at
places) with new singer Pete Sandberg on some songs.
Furthermore the release contains the two bonus tracks "Feel My Love"
& "Touch My Fire" and unseen photos which make this reissue even
more essential.
